The ConFigIT is the programming device for the Transponder.
It enables a number of parameters to be programmed before the Transponder
is connected to a meter. The device operates with simple, user-friendly
software that allows the user to quickly and easily set parameters.
Operation
The ConFigIT software enables the operator to set a number of Transponder parameters, including: utility code, Transponder ID, meter reading,
tamper count, meter type, as well as meter reading and transmit
intervals. The Water Transponder may be turned on by using the ConFigIT
device or a magnet swipe near the center of the Transponder.
